According to him, the water was high enough to make the water channel on the side of the road unable to accommodate it until it finally overflowed onto the road.

To handle it, eight personnel immediately deployed to the location. They were synergizing with the Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village PPSU to clean up waste that clogged water lines, as well as helping manage traffic flow.

"We also operate two stationary pump units at the Brantas Pump House to drain the inundation and channel it to the Cipinang River. The pump capacity operated is 500 liters per second each," he explained.

Cempedak Cipinang Urban Village Head, Abdul Muin added that to handle it, around 20 personnel of PPSU were deployed to some points on Jalan DI Panjaitan. They cleaned waste in the storm drains and channels on the west side of the road.

"Currently, the inundation has receded and traffic has also returned to normal," he closed.
