The South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) keeps anticipating the potential for inundation and flooding, including on Idul Fitri 1445 Hijri.

"We also deploy trucks, heavy equipment, mobile pumps, consisting of truck mobile pumps, portable pumps, and pumps. Certainly, all facilities and infrastructure are ready to use," he expressed, Wednesday (4/17).
Dirty Channel on Jalan Petojo VIJ II CleanedEastern Regional Pump Coordinator, Dede Rusmana added pump houses covering areas prone to inundation and flooding, such as the Kemang Raya Pump House, were the focus of attention.
"On Idul Firi and post-Idul Fitri holiday, there are still personnel on standby at the location," he explained.
According to him, the number of personnel at the Kemang Raya Pump House was two people who were on standby 1x24 hours. There were also two Rapid Reaction Unit (URC) teams consisting of two people per team who are also on standby 1x24 hours.
"The Kemang Raya Pump House is the central point for pumps in South Jakarta which must always be alert and ready if needed when inundation occurs," he explained.
It has two stationary pump units, each with 500 liters per second capacity. There is also a trailer pump unit with 500 liters per second capacity.
"There is also one URC mobile pump unit with 83.3 liters per second capacity, and one Floating Pump unit to help speed up handling if flooding occurs," he stated.
