The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf), held Partnership-Based Creative Economy Development activities in the Cinta Bridge area, Tidung Island, South Seribu Islands, Saturday (5/18).

The activity entitled "Tidung Island Making Batik" is even more lively with the presence of the Raskrim Band, Gembo 21 Band, D'afternoon Band, Batik Gobang Seribu Islands' work, bazaars with 25 SMEs, as well as simultaneous batik making with the local community and residents.
Seribu Islands Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan stated it was aimed to provide space for creativity and a forum for the expression of creative economy actors and the community.

Batik Gobang Jakarta Owner, Ethys Mayoshi added her party supports this synergy because it trains women in Seribu Islands to be creative.
She explained the Gobang Seribu Batik motif emphasizes the richness of marine flora and fauna, with natural colors.
"Gobang Seribu Batik can reach a wider market. So, it can benefit local economic development," she finished.
