Satpol PP Catches Five PPKS in Senen

Five people with social welfare issues (PPKS) were netted in the raid against PPKS held by Satpol PP personnel in Senen Sub-district, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (5/21).
Most netted are illegal parking attendants and people with mental disorders
Senen Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Aries Cahyadi said the operation is held to follow up on residents' complaints about PPKS in their neighborhoods.
"It is focused on several roads," he stated.
Ramadan, 33 PPKS in Central Jakarta NettedHe explained their existence had violated the Bylaw Number 8/2007 on Public Order. They were netted on Jalan Pasar Senen Raya, Kramat Raya, Selemba Raya, and Jalan Kwitang Raya.
"Most netted are illegal parking attendants and people with mental disorders. We send them to the Bina Insan Bangun Daya 1 Kedoya Institution," he explained.
Senen Sub-district Head, Ronny Jarpiko admitted the Senen area is dense and busy, so it is a target for PPKS to take action.
"The solution is that we routinely carry out supervision and control. Hopefully, the Senen area will remain comfortable and conducive," he stated.
