Six PPSU personnel have cleaned up storm drains on the Outer Ring Road (JORR), Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta, which aims to anticipate flooding when it rains.

Cengkareng Timur Urban Village's Economy, Development, and People's Welfare Section Head, Hipni said the storm drains were cleaned up to 300 meters starting in front of the Taman Palem Mall SPBU to in front of SMKN 42 Jakarta.

"This is done because the drains are full of waste and mud," he expressed, Monday (6/3).

By doing so, it was expected to be able to smoothen water flow and minimize flooding in such areas.

The action above received appreciation from one of the residents at RT 04/08, Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Firman Yansori (48).

"Hopefully, it can overcome the flooding problem and smoothen traffic flow," he hoped.
