"The antemortem examination carried out by the team of doctors includes checking age, physical examination such as toenails, mouth, teeth, eyes, skin and history of the sacrificial animal," he said, Wednesday (6/5).

His side also ensured that the 130 cows and 120 goats originating from Central Java are equipped with animal health certificates from the area of ​​origin.

He appealed to traders, especially in the South Jakarta area, to comply with the Islamic rules and sharia for animals suitable for sacrifice.

"Please do not sell cattle on social and public facilities," he added.

Meanwhile, one of cattle sellers, Fajar, thanked the agency for checking his cattle.

"This inspection can make buyers more confident in buying sacrificial animals here. Because, after being examined we were given a special marker," he stated.

He added that the sacrificial animals he sells are regularly cared for and comply with Islamic law, especially regarding health and age.

"We always provide healthy food and vitamins. Then, carry out disease control and maintain the cleanliness of the location," he continued.
