34,821 Visitors Flock to Ragunan Zoo Over Idul Adha Break

During the Idul Adha holiday 1445 Hijri, as many as 34,821 people reportedly flocked to Ragunan Zoo (TMR).

They purchase tickets online and offline

Ragunan Zoo's Public Relations Head, Wahyudi Bambang, detailed that on Monday (6/17), there were about 17,024 visitors and 17,797 on Tuesday (6/18).

"They purchase tickets online and offline," he expressed, Wednesday (6/19).

He explained this year's number of visitors was lower than the previous year. It was thought to be triggered by the erratic weather in Jakarta.

"It rained, even though it didn't last long. However, when it stopped there was no significant increase in visitors," he explained.

He assessed the animal holiday which is usually set on Monday, this week will be on Wednesday.

"Today is close and will open tomorrow," he uttered.

One of the visitors from Jagakarsa, Devi (36) admitted that she was happy to spend vacation time at tourist attractions with his family because the prices were affordable and the location was close to home.

"If there is a long holiday, we'll make time to go to Ragunan," she admitted.
