Bangka Conducts Comparative Study with C. Jakarta Administration

Representatives of the South Bangka Regency administration, conducted a comparative study of the regional program and financial planning systems programmed by the Central Jakarta administration, Thursday (6/27).

Bangka Selatan Regency Secretariate's Economy and Development Assistant, Muhson stated his party was visiting to look for references to a regional program and financial planning system that could be implemented in his area.

According to him, as a newly developing region, the South keeps developing various programs so that it is not left behind by other regions.

"Hope what we have learned can be applied in South Bangka. Thus, the reports submitted to the Budget Realization Evaluation and Monitoring Team can be better," he uttered.

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Chaidir welcomed the visit from the Bangka Regency administration. Besides exchanging information on program planning systems and regional finances, this visit was also an opportunity for friendship for both parties

"We exchange experiences, provide education or enlightenment, especially planning regional financial programs, especially in the financial planning system that has been implemented by the Central Jakarta administration," he explained.

He hoped that the presentation would provide a complete picture and provide positive input for the South Bangka Regency administration. Thus, they have a reference for implementing financial reforms and updates that can be implemented in the region of origin.

Central Jakarta Regional Financial Management Sub-agency Head, Devi Riana uttered that the planning and budgeting system that is currently implemented is already a system. Meanwhile, in South Bangka Regency, it is still done manually.

According to him, an application system for implementing planning and budgeting would make it easier, so that actual calculations of physical work and financial reports could be synchronized.

"Hopefully, with this visit, they and we can do better in planning and executing budgets," he concluded.
