The East Jakarta Parks and City Forests Sub-agency (Tamhut) is currently building a park on a ​​2,552-square-meters, Jalan Swadaya, Pondok Ranggon Urban Village, Cipayung.

It is targeted for completion in September 2024

East Jakarta Parks and City Forests Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin said the park was built to intensify green public areas and also as a means for residents to interact and exercise.

He added the work has been ongoing since mid-June 2024 and the progress has touched five percent.

"The current stage of work is installing river stone sheet piles in the vehicle parking stair area. Then fill in the soil to make stairs in the parking area too," he expressed, Tuesday (7/2).

East Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency's Park Section Acting Head, Randi Putra added the park woud have a nutritional pool and various other interesting features.

"Around the park, there are water features, such as ponds, water bikes, etc. It is targeted for completion in September 2024," he concluded.
