As many as 68 toddlers in Cilandak Barat Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta received nutritious supplementary food.

Cilandak Sub-district Deputy Head, Noverra, said this program is held as government's effort together with posyandu, TP PKK, and MSME fulfilling toddlers nutrition.

"We intervened 338 toddlers in Cilandak Sub-district. There are 68 toddlers given nutritious supplementary food in Cilandak Urban Village," she said at Posyandu Melu 3, Jalan BDN 1, RT 02/11, Cilandak Barat Urban Village.

Noverra hopes that apart from carrying out nutritious PMT interventions, the Community Health Center and cadres will also carry out outreach to teenagers and parents, especially regarding marriage, reproduction, and proper and correct processing of nutritious food.

"I ask for this socialization to be intensified so that they can later give birth to healthy children and become parents who are able to provide nutritious food," he explained.

Meanwhile, Cilandak Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Maryati Kastiman, explained the nutritious food given to 68 toddlers is run for 14 days with different menu each days.

The target toddlers are those with weight criteria that do not increase or are below the normal line, and toddlers with malnutrition.

Maryati hopes that apart from making children healthier and developing well, this program can also provide parents with knowledge about how to prepare nutritious food with variations and appearances that children like.

"Hopefully the children will be healthy and become the Golden Generation so they can make their parents, nation and state proud," she said.
