The realization of regional tax revenues in South Jakarta in the period January July 22, 2024 has reached Rp 6.7 trillion or 44.95 of the set target.

This target will increase in 2023 by Rp 14.18 trillion

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin fully supports the efforts made to meet this year's regional tax targets. One of them is by inviting sub-district and urban village heads, as well as environmental administrators to play an active role in conducting outreach to taxpayers.

"I also ask the sub-district UP3D must continue to identify tax problems in the area, thus later the sub-district heads, urban village heads, and environmental administrators can move quickly to deal with potential taxes in their environment," he expressed, Wednesday (7/24).

South Jakarta Regional Revenue Sub-agency Head, Hendarto added the regional tax target in South Jakarta in 2024 for 11 tax objects reached Rp 14.91 trillion.

"This target will increase in 2023 by Rp 14.18 trillion," he explained.

With approximately five months remaining, he said, taxes with the highest revenues, such as Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), as well as Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) would continue to be maximized.

"We'll synergize with other stakeholders, thus the regional tax target in South Jakarta is achieved. If possible, it can even exceed the target," he added.

Even, cooperation in regional tax collection continues to be improved, monitored and evaluated every week. Thus, the process of inventorying problems and collecting data on potential regional taxes could run well.

"We'll also intensify activities that smoothen people to pay their taxes. I urge taxpayers to meet their obligations, taxes are very important to finance development," he stated.
