Hundreds of Personnel Clean Kali Buaran River Inspection Road

Hundreds of joint personnel held a cleanup action in the Kali Buaran River Inspection Road area, RT 08/15, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Sunday (8/4).

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar said it had to be done in stages because the area was large. Meanwhile, it was carried out for 400 meters.

"We send 500 personnel to the location," he stated.

He mentioned that as many as 500 personnel deployed were from RT/RW, LMK, FKDM, urban village and sub-district apparatuses untuk various regional apparatus organizations in East Jakarta.

East Jakarta Parks and Forest Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin added ten trees type flamboyant were planted at the location. These trees were expected to make the Kali Buaran River Inspection Road area greener.

"Flamboyant was chosen because when it grows up it will be very lush and shady," he said.
