"This is divided into two stages. The first stage, starting from July 23 to 29, 2024, has now been extended to 11 August. Meanwhile, the second stage starts on August 12," he expressed, Tuesday (8/6).

Then 17,608 on August 1; 17,553 on August 2; 8,150 on August 3; 4,315 on August 4; and 7,284 on August 5.
"We'll continue to intensify this until 100 percent coverage of children immunized against Polio is achieved," he explained.
In order for PIN Polio to be optimally successful, extensive and detailed cross-sector data collection and mobilization was required using a child's name by address and NIK database.
"Human resources are also needed, both health workers and administration or input officers through the ASIK recording and reporting system and massive manual data from across related sectors," he explained.
Within the time span, PIN Polio which had been determined by various interventions would continue to be carried out, including through optimizing door-to-door services.
"For the large index of use of the novel Oral Polio Vaccine Type 2 (nOPV2) vaccine, its use must be as effective as possible with a sufficient target of one vial for 50 children," he said.
