12 Tons of Trash Left by May Day Demonstration Cleaned

Demonstration of thousands labors welcoming May Day, on last Friday (5/1), left 12 tons of trash along Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Thamrin Central Jakarta. Those trash then cleaned by Janitors of Jakarta Cleanliness Department, and threw to Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Disposal Site (TPST), Bekasi.

Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Department, Saptastri Ediningtyas Kusuma Dewi stated, after the labors left, janitors dispatched cleaning the trash. Thus protocol roads stay clean when vehicles passing by.
"Trash collected from Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Thamrin reached 10-12 tons," said Tyas, her nickname, Saturday (5/2).

"Those trash then transported to Bantar Gebang Waste Disposal Site, Bekasi. Yet it is not included trash from each area," she
