takes place, Friday (5/1). The janitors immediately cleaned up the trash after
the commemoration ends

Department, Saptasari Ediningtyas said that her side also deployed the
janitors in each areas. “100 janitors have been deployed to protocol road,” she
uttered, Friday (5/1).
Tyas added, since May Day is set as national holiday there is not
much changes in total trash volume. The janitors will immediately clean the
roads after demonstration ended precisely at 5 PM.
Moreover, she pleased the workers not littering in accordance
with the bylaw article 12 clause 2/2013
related to waste management which says that
every the organizer/crowd coordinator including demonstration action must to
maintain waste as impact of the action. “Every field coordinator must remind
the workers to keep the waste and throw into provided trash can.
Trash order during the demonstration is in compliance with 5 orders program that initiated by City Administration, coordinating political, legal and security affairs minister (Menko Polhukam), City Police, Jakarta Military Command (Kodam Jaya). “Such programs comprised of trash order, street vendor order, traffic order, residence order and demonstration order,” she disclosed.
