According to Anwar, planting trees is one of the efforts to make the area around the reservoir more lush.

Not only to overcome flooding in the surrounding area, Anwar said, this reservoir is also a tourist destination for residents. Therefore, his party will continue to add facilities and infrastructure in the reservoir area, starting from making a jogging track area to a park.

The reservoir is also a place for fish farming, because there are many clear springs.

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin, stated there were 275 trees planted today. Those were 225 shade trees and 50 productive trees.

"Because the condition of the reservoir is still arid, we are planting more trees here," he stated.
