PPSU Builds Two Infiltration Wells at SDN Cijantung 06 Pagi

Seven PPSU personnel from Cijantung Urban Village, East Jakarta, made two infiltration wells in the yard of SDN Cijantung 06 Pagi. From the target of 40 wells, 17 wells have been reached so far.

It has been ongoing since weekend and is targeted for completion this week

Cijantung Urban Village Head, Teguh Suharyono said that besides targeting school yards, infiltration wells were also built in residential areas, places of worship, and other points. It was aimed at anticipating flooding in the rainy season.

"Currently, the second well hole is being made in the yard of SDN Cijantung 06. It is possible that the number will increase, depending on the condition of the area," he said, Wednesday (9/4).

"It has been ongoing since weekend and is targeted for completion this week," he continued.

His party had planned to build wells in the yards of six state and private elementary schools, including two state middle schools in his area.

Then the remaining wells would follow and were targeted to be 100 percent completed before the end of December.

"The average well is made with a depth of two meters and a diameter of 120 centimeters," he stated.
