The South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency (KPKP), conducted food safety supervision in five traditional and modern markets in Tebet and Setiabudi areas.

Food Security and Agriculture Section Head, Siti Halimah said today's supervision was focused on Tebet Barat Market, Tebet Timur Market, Superindo Tebet, Karwt Belakang Market, and Menteng Pulo Market.

S. Jakarta KPKP Monitors Food at Five MarketsOf the five markets visited, the officers took 12 food samples consisting of agricultural and livestock products.
"Food sample inspection point iscentered at Tebet Barat Market," she explained.
According to her, the agricultural products being examined were focused on pesticide content. While the livestock products being examined were focused on formalin.
"Of the five markets we visited, all food products were declared safe from hazardous substances," she said.
