Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi held a working visit to MCC Building PT Lintas Raya Terpadu (LRT) Jakarta, Jalan Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Friday (12/6).

The working visit was conducted in order to appreciate the performance of the five-year operation of the Jakarta LRT rail-based mass transportation mode.

At that moment, Teguh appreciated the Jakarta LRT five years of operation which has become a source of pride and a symbol of progress for Jakarta.

"Only two cities have LRT. But here in Jakarta is active as one of mass transportations," he said.

He also appreciated LRT Jakarta which continues creating the best service with the results of the Maximum Service Standard (SPM) showing 99 percent accuracy during five years of operation.

LRT Jakarta has transported 3.8 million passengers with an average of 3,000 people per day during its five years of operation. This condition will continue to increase along with the completion of LRT phase 1B Rawamangun-Manggarai by 6.4 kilometers long.

"I hope this moment is not just an annual routine, but also fosters the spirit of the Jakarta LRT ranks to perform better, provide excellent service and improve the quality of spirit and so on," he explained.

Moreover, Teguh also appreciated the innovation carried out by LRT Jakarta, such as monitoring and increasing income and developing a digital payment system.

"Hopefully the construction of phase 1B to complete on target in order to create better situation once more," he added.

Teguh also requested LRT Jakarta's human resources to improve their capabilities to produce better results, including asset maintenance to prevent unwanted things.

Meanwhile, PT LRT Jakarta Director, Hendri Sanjaya stated it was an honor for the working visit made by the Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi to the Jakarta LRT office.

"We hope LRT Jakarta will gain more spirit with the connection of phase 1B and 1A to serve residents," he admitted.
