Iin Leads Inauguration of 708 LMK in East Jakarta

Acting East Jakarta Mayor, Iin Mutmainah, led the inauguration of 708 members of urban village community institutions (LMK) held via offline and online, Friday (12/27). This inauguration was conducted by sub-district heads in each region.

LMK can be a place that provides community aspirations

According to her, LMK members are elected people who are entrusted by the community to forward aspirations to urban village officials in their respective areas.

"On behalf of the East Jakarta City administration, I wish you congratulations and success," she expressed.

She hoped that they could run their mandate and duties according to their job description. They must also be able to oversee the progress of development in the region.

She added their initial task was to smoothen Musrembang. They must be able to formulate development planning in their area.

"LMK can be a place that provides community aspirations, according to development needs in their environment," she closed.
