Here's the Traffic Engineering Ahead of Regional Heads Inauguration at State Palace

Jakarta Transportation Agency applies traffic diversion and traffic engineering on Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara and surrounding areas due to the Inauguration of Regional Heads and Deputy Heads at the State Palace on February 20, 2025.

"Traffic engineering will be applied on February 19-20, 2025,"

The Inauguration of Regional Heads and Deputy Heads will be attended by a total of 2,426 invited guests.

"Traffic engineering will be applied on February 19-20, 2025, from 6 AM to 6 PM and is situational," conveyed Syafrin Liputo, Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, Wednesday (2/19).

Traffic Engineering Implemented on Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan and Asemka Intersection

The following are roads affected by traffic diversion and it is situational:

a. The south side of Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan;

b. Intersection of Jalan MH Thamrin-Jalan Kebon Sirih

c. Jalan Budi Kemuliaan;

d. Jalan Veteran I;

e. Jalan Veteran II;

f. Jalan Veteran III;

g. Jalan Veteran;

h. Jalan Majapahit;

i. Intersection of Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara.

Invited guests will transit inside Monas and head to the State Palace, with the following details:

1) The Governor and Deputy Governor-elect enter Monas through Southwest Monas Gate (Arjuna Wijaya "Horse" Monument), to the drop off location at North Cawan Monas and the vehicle is parked in West Cawan Monas area;

2) The Regent and Deputy Regent-elect enter Monas through Southeast Monas Gate (in front of the US Embassy), to the drop off location at North Cawan Monas and the vehicle is parked in South Cawan Monas area;

3) The Mayor and Deputy Mayor-elect enter Monas through Southeast Monas Gate (in front of US Embassy), to the drop off location at North Cawan Monas and the vehicle is parked in East Monas Cup area.

Here are the traffic flow diversions in connection with this activity:

a. Traffic flow from Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur (from the South) heading to the West via Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara will be diverted to Jalan Perwira-Jalan Katedral-Jalan Pos-Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Samanhudi-and so on;

b. Traffic flow from the North (Jalan Hayam Wuruk) heading to the South (Blok M) will be diverted to Jalan Ir H Juanda-Jalan Pos-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat- Jalan Taman Pejambon-Jalan Pejambon-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-and so on;

c. Traffic flow from Jalan Ir H Juanda heading south (Blok M) will be diverted through Jalan Suryopranoto-Jalan Tomang Raya-Jalan S Parman-Jalan Gatot Subroto-and so on;

d. Traffic flow from Jalan Tomang Raya and Jalan Suryopranoto heading south (Blok M) will be diverted through Jalan Ir H Juanda-Jalan Pos-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat-Jalan Taman Pejambon-Jalan Pejambon-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur and so on;

e. Traffic flow from South (Blok M) heading to North is diverted through Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan Fachrudin-Jalan Cideng Barat-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Suryopranoto- Jalan Hayam Wuruk-and so on;

f. Traffic flow from Jalan Veteran III to south will be diverted situationally through Jalan Suryapranoto-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Cideng Timur-and so on.
