Rano Karno Mengaku Naik Transportasi Publik Dari Kediaman Jauh Lebih Nyaman

Cozy, Rano will Use Public Transportation to City Hall

Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno admits that he feels comfortable to use public transportation from his home in Lebak Bulus to Jakarta City Hall on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

I will take MRT from my house in Lebak Bulus up to Bundaran HI

"I will take MRT from my house in Lebak Bulus up to Bundaran HI and continue the trip with an official car. It is comfortable, but I can not do it everyday since I must pay a visit to some places," Rano said after visiting the facilities of MRT and Transjakarta at Bundaran Hi Bus Stop, Tuesday (2/25).

Rano added that using public transportation means much more calmer and less worried with traffic congestion.

"I should take public transportation once a week," he added.

Moreover, Rano ensures that Jakarta Provincial Government will give free charge of public transportation for 15 society categories namely people with disability, elderly, KJP holder, army and police member.

"We will also expand the public transportation network. Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, wants Transjabodetabek. It means the network is expanded to ease people from Bekasi, Depok, and Tangerang accessing Jakarta," he continued.

He is optimistic that the public transportation expansion from Jakarta to the border areas can be realized.

"It is also our part of first 100-workin-day program," Rano emphasized.

Rano explained the additional armada will also be discussed with the border areas' regional governments.

"Route to be expanded and armada will be added up. But we must discuss it with other regional governments," he stated.
