PAM Jaya Launches Air Sehat Card Program"The construction is targeted to complete in March," Rano said, Tuesday (2/25).
Rano added that IPA Buaran III construction by Perumda PAM Jaya is part of Jakarta Provincial Government effort to meet 100 percent of drinking water need in Jakarta. It is projected to complete in 2030.
During his visit, Rano reminded Perumda PAM Jaya to focus on area with low supply of clean water. Because water is the most important basic service, not only for bathing but also for drinking needs.
"The low supply area must be assisted soon since the soil can not be used maximally," he added.
Perumda PAM Jaya Director, Arief Nasrudin, explained IPA Buaran III is the additional of IPA Buaran I and IPA Buaran II at the same area.
At this moment, Arief added, his side is connecting pipe for Jakarta residents needs.
"The target is 300,000 special customers at the IPA Buaran since the capacity is 3,000 liter per second," he explained.
According to him, there will be 600 liter per second to be connected to resident houses in April. Because if it is connected directly, the new pipes are not ready and the water can be wasted and result in wasted costs.
Arief stated that the water pipes of IPA Buaran III will be supplied to Kramat Jati Sub-district, Makasar, Ciracas, Pasar Rebo, and part of Jatinegara Sub-districts.
