Several areas in Jakarta are still flooded due to heavy rainfall in the upstream region since Sunday (3/2).
We immediately provide services for residents
Besides flooding residential areas, the flood also caused many residents to lose or experience damage to their identity documents such as ID cards, family cards, and birth certificates.
To address it, the Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) opened population administration services (adminduk) at the evacuation posts.

"We immediately provide services for residents who have lost or damaged their civil documents due to flooding," he expressed, Wednesday (3/5).
He explained personnel were on standby at safe locations to provide services. Residents can report directly to the nearest evacuation post without any special requirements.
He explained that the issuance of documents can be completed in just one day. If residents still remember their Population Identification Number (NIK) or have a copy of the document, either in physical form or as a photo on their phone, the Dukcapil Agency can immediately reprint the lost or damaged document.
"No special requirements, as long as they can provide their NIK information or have proof of document ownership, we can print it out the same day," he explained.
He urged residents affected by the flood to immediately come the nearest post or the local Dukcapil offices if they need to replace their civil documents.
"Hopefully, it can help simplify the administration of residents in the midst of the emergency situation," he closed.
