Imam of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Ausy Visits Pramono at Jakarta City Hall

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, received a visit from the International Imam and Khateeb from Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Ausy, at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (3/19).

On that occasion, Pramono expressed his gratitude and honor for the visit.

"Today, we have the honor of receiving a guest from one of the imams of several mosques, including Masjidil Haram, Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Ausy," he expressed.

He explained that he is one of the admirers of Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Ausy and often listens to his recitation of the holy verses of the Quran read via YouTube channel. He also felt fortunate to be able to hear the recitation of the holy Quran verses directly from Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Ausy.

"On YouTube, the recitation and tajwid are indeed extraordinary, and I was grateful to have the chance to listen live as he read several surahs," he explained.

He added Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Ausy also expressed his gratitude to the President, ministers, regional heads, and Religious Minister for their support. He prayed that the government led by President Prabowo and the Jakarta Government would run smoothly.

"And earlier he conveyed that he hopes the government led by President Prabowo and the Jakarta Government can run smoothly. May his prayer be granted," he added.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Ausy expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome given by Governor Pramono.
