"Thanks to BPK for its strategic role in maintaining the accountability of Jakarta Provincial Government's financial management," Rano said.
Rano added that Jakarta Provincial Government has completed the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2024 Fiscal Year on time and has gone through the Inspectorate review.
"This is part of our commitment in realizing accountability in financial and goods management," Rano added.
Rano explained that the submitted financial report contained the realization of Revised City Budget 2024 by Rp 85.20 trillion, Rp 5.54 trillion or 7,09 percent higher compared to Revised City Budget 2023 by Rp 79.56 trillion.
Meanwhile, total revenue has reached Rp 82.29 trillion or 96.59 percent and expenditure realization is Rp 77.86 trillion or 91.38 percent.
Then, the total assets of the Jakarta Provincial Government as of December 31, 2024 were Rp746.39 trillion. The amount increased by Rp30.89 trillion or 4.32 percent compared to the position as of December 31, 2023, which was Rp 715.50 trillion.
Rano stated the unqualified opinion (WTP) achievement in Jakarta Provincial LKPD 2024 becomes a challenge to continue increasing transparency and accountability in regional finances and goods management.
"Hopefully we are able to make improvements and strengthen governance in order to realize Jakarta as a transparent, accountable and sustainable global city," Rano stated.
The Indonesian Audit Board (BPK) of the Jakarta Province Representative Office Head, M Ali Asyhar, explained the unaudited financial report submission by Jakarta Provincial Government had complied with the regulation and was on time.
Then his side is obliged to run an inspection and provide opinion under 60 days after the report is received.
"We appreciate Jakarta Provincial Government
for completing its report on time. The report aims to provide opinion on the financial management fairness," he said.
