Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asked that civil servants serving under Jakarta Provincial Government to keep working optimally without any sense of sluggish and sullen during Ramadan.

He asked the civil servant incorporated in Korpri to know each other in order to realize a good organizational communication.
“Our successful isn't in individual, but team. Let’s us remove our fatigue to make a better brotherhood,” he
expressed.
As for the information, during Ramadan, the civil servant's working hours would be shortened around 1.5 hours than usual days. From the rules, they start working at 7.30 AM and finish at 4 PM, but it will be shorten during Ramadan, for Monday-Thursday, the working would start at 8 AM and finish at 3 PM with timebreak at 12-12.30 PM. While for Friday, it starts at 8 AM-3.30 PM and timebreak at 11.30 AM-12.30 PM.
Head of Jakarta Employment Agency (BKD), Agus Suradika uttered such policy will not be different as applied in previous years.
"Civil servant's working hours is only 32.5 hours every week during Ramadan. It is much less than usual days that is 40 hours every week," he told.
