South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, monitored sterilization of cat owned by residents at Nyi Ageng Serang Building, Karet Kuningan Urban Village, Setiabudi District.
The sterilization targets 150 cats
Munjirin said South Jakarta Administration appreciates free cat sterilization run routinely by South Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Sub-agency that is collaborate with cat lover communities.
"I always emphasize to run this program to be run routinely in all districts of South Jakarta including stray cats at traditional markets and residential," he said, Thursday (4/24).

Meanwhile, South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan A Sidabalok explained the sterilization is held through collaboration with Yayasan Peduli Lingkungan Indonesia (YPLI), Jakarta Cat Lovers, Whiskas, and Catto.
"The sterilization targets 150 cats; 120 males and 30 females. About 2,300 cats are targeted to be sterilized this year," he explained.
