Ancol Commissioners Appointed Based on Capability, Says Pramono

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung emphasized that the appointment of the Board of Commissioners of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (Perseroan) was carried out professionally, based on each individual's competence and experience.

As for the Board of Directors of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Pramono stated that there were no changes. This was conveyed by Pramono at Balai Agung, Jakarta City Hall, on Tuesday (4/29).

"Why did we appoint three persons to Ancol? It's purely based on their capabilities. They are all professionals suited for the role," he asserted.

He also mentioned that under his leadership, Ancol's main focus will be to enhance connectivity with Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) to facilitate parking access when events held at the site.

"In the early phase of my term, Ancol will get spcial attention, especially to improve its connectivity with JIS, thus parking will be easier when events held at JIS," he said.

Therefore, he instructed Ancol's board of directors to adopt a more modern, open, and transparent mindset.

"I've also asked Ancol's board of directors to implement a more modern, open, and transparent mindset," he expressed.

For information, Lies Hartono, popularly known as Cak Lontong, and former Jakarta Governor, Sutiyoso, were appointed as Commissioners of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk. Meanwhile, former President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, was appointed as the President Commissioner.

These appointments were made during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol regarding inauguration and changes to the Board of Commissioners.
