Jalan Raya Kalisari's Featured Area Revamp Progresses to 80 Percent

The arrangement of featured area on Jalan Raya Kalisari, RT 01/01, Kalisari Urban Village, Pasar Rebo Sub-district, East Jakarta, has now reached 80 percent.

Kalisari Urban Village Head, Siti Nurhasanah, conveyed that the 24-square-meter area was previously used as a dumping ground for debris and garbage.

Development of the Featured Area on Jalan Manyar Has Been Completed

"The arrangement work, which began in April 2025, is targeted for completion this month . a total of 20 orange troops have been deployed to arrange the area," she said, Wednesday (6/4).

Siti explained that the arrangement work consisted of building miniatures representing Jakarta, such as Istiqlal Mosque, Ondel-Ondel, Monas, and MRT train.

"Through this featured area arrangement, we also aim to socialize and educate residents to foster greater love for their city," she expressed.

Meanwhile, Kalisari Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Evy Widyasanti, added that various ornamental plants will be also decorated the area.

"For the greening efforts, we will be helped by the East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency," she stated.

She hopes that the area arrangement on Jalan Raya Kalisari will enhance the aesthetics and provide greater comfort for the community.

"I urge residents to participate in maintaining and caring for this newly arranged area," she said.
