Slippery Road, 11 Motorcyclists Slipped

At least 11 motorcyclists are slipped out on Jalan Raya Bogor, precisely near the exit of Kramatjati Induk Market, East Jakarta. It was triggered by the slippery road due to the compost waste water locally known as air lindi from the passing dump trucks. 

Once the trucks get out of the market, the compost waste water is always scattered

Sumarta (60), a local said, every morning, there are 5-6 dump trucks getting out of the Induk Kramatjati Market. Unfortunately, the waste water was left scattered on the road and caused road slippery and smell. Consequently, 11 motorcyclist slipped not far from the exit of the market. 

"Once the trucks get out of the market, the compost waste water is always scattered. However, it is never watered. And makes the road slippery and sticky," he said, Friday (6/26).

When being confirmed, Head of East Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Wahyu Pudjiastuti promised that would follow up the matter and warn the operator of waste transporter in Kramatjati Induk Market's Waste Disposal Site (TPS). To prevent more victim, spraying with carbolic will be conducted.

"Waste with full of compost waste water should not be just put on the truck, it should be sorted between the waste and water. The matter in field is sometimes the janitor just transport the waste without paying attention of the water," he expressed.
