Folk Market to Open at C. Jakarta Mayor Office Soon

The variety of affordable staple foods product will be sold on the next folk market on Friday (7/10) which take place at the courtyard of Central Jakarta Mayor office.

Such folk market would also offer tomato, red onion, peeled beans, apple, and orange with affordable price

“It opens at 8 AM until night, this series activity will be continued with Safari Ramadhan and Nuzulul Quran event,” said Sulastri Gultom, Assistant of Central Jakarta Economy and Administration, Friday (7/3).

Kampung Bali Residents Flocked Folk Market

The staple food sold are, premium rice Rp 9,500 per Kilograms, Sugar Rp 10,800 per kilograms, cooking oil Rp 12,500 per kilogram, red onion Rp 17,000 per kilograms, red chili Rp 20,000 per kilograms, fruits (apple and orange), peeled beans.

Separately, there are also 200 staple packages worth Rp 30,000 per package which containing 1 litre of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, 200 grams of margarine sachet, tea and syrup.

In addition, Central Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department will also contribute by selling 1,700 kilograms subsidized meat worth Rp 39,000 per kilograms and 600 chicken pieces worth Rp 15,000 per kilograms.

“For middle-financial family we offer local beef meat for Rp 89,000 per kilograms and chicken meat Rp 37,000 per kilograms,” said Head of Central Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department, Muljadi.
