Mall Pluit Junction akan bertransformasi menjadi Pusat kendaraan listrik atau EV Indonesia Center

EV Indonesia Center Development to Kick Off This November

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro is taking a major step in its transformation journey by converting Pluit Junction Mall into EV Indonesia Center.

“... as a new icon of the electric vehicle industry in Jakarta,"

Jakarta’s first electric vehicle center is set to begin development in the fourth quarter of this year, starting in early November. The project is expected to take approximately 1.5 to 2 years. During the period, Pluit Junction Mall will temporarily close starting October 2025.

Jakpro’s Director of Engineering and Development, Dian Takdir, stated that the closure is only temporary and will last until construction is complete, at which point Pluit Junction will reopen with a modern, revitalized concept.

“This is not a permanent closure. It’s part of the beautification and rebranding process to make the mall more relevant to current trends,” said Dian on Thursday (10/9).

Dian explained that the EV Indonesia Center will offer integrated facilities including an electric vehicle showroom, charging stations, after-sales service centers, and educational zones for children and families.

Pluit Junction, which has served the Pluit area since the early 2000s as a community mall, is now entering a new chapter in its evolution.

“Jakpro is ready to reintroduce this area as a new icon of the electric vehicle industry in Jakarta, driven by innovation and sustainability,” she emphasized.

The name ‘Pluit Junction’ itself refers to the mall’s strategic location at the intersection of Jalan Pluit Selatan Raya and Jalan Pluit Timur Raya.
