Illegal Terminals will Be Dismantled

Illegal terminals that pop up ahead of Eid-ul Fitr will be dismantled soon. According to Andriyansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, its existence cannot be separated from the unruly buses which cannot operate in legal terminal. He assessed, those buses did not undergo a vehicles feasibility test before operating. 

We will dismantle those terminals as all buses must operate in legal ones

"We'll dismantle illegal terminals as all buses must operate in legal ones. As the governor's instruction, all homecomers should departure from terminals that have been provided," he asserted, when he held a sudden inspection in Kalideres Terminal, Thursday (7/9). 

In the inspection, his department also observed the ticket counters and interacted with the homecomers related to ticket fare. It is said, there is still no fare increment until this day. 

Eid-ul Fitr Buses to Face Worthiness Test

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, there are at least 4 points of illegal terminals popping up in West Jakarta, including at Jalan Daan Mogot, Jalan Raya Kembangan, Jalan Kapuk-Kamal, and Jalan Latumenten.
