Mosques Construction in Jakarta will Be Propagated

Besides physical development, the mental and spiritual building are also being concern of the Jakarta Provincial Government. To realize such idealism, Jakarta government intends to build big mosques in residential.

We will help to build many mosques in neighborhood thus they can be used for gathering and hospitality place, besides for congregational prayer

With the existence of those mosques, citizens can do prayer congregationally and knowing difficulties of each other. 

"We will help to build many mosques in neighborhood thus they can be used for gathering and hospitality place, besides for congregational prayer," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama, during breaking of the fast gathering along with ulama (Muslim scholar preachers Islamic religious leaders), the haj training group (KBIH), the Association of Indonesian Haj and Umrah Organizers (Amphuri) and Religious Institution in Block G Building, City Hall, Monday (7/13).

Besides that, Ahok who was accompanied by Vice Jakarta Governor Djarot Saiful Hidajat, also promised will pay attention of the mosques' caretakers who have been working sincerely all this time. 

"Mosque caretakers in the city have been departed for haj, umrah. We want to appreciate them who have been maintaining the mosque. Jakarta wants like this," he expressed. 

Meanwhile, Head of bureau for Jakarta Mental Education, Ahmad Gozali added the event was as the hospitality between the governor and the communities from various component and organization cross which are representing of ulama, KBIH and Amphuri. 

"There are also community organizations in Jakarta. It's about 200 guests," he explained. 

Gozali stated, besides hospitality, the event was held for discussing about preparation of 2015 Haj implementation, which falls in August-September. 

"So, it is also in order to give service for citizens who want to go for haj this year," he closed.
