DPRD's Inquiry Commitee Asked to Clarify BPK's FInding

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat held a working meeting with Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s inquiry committee (Pansus) regarding audit result of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) towards 2014 City Budget (APBD).

According to Djarot, his party was glad about initiative of the committee forming by the council. As, it will clearly be seen where the mistake is and could be fixed through the applicable mechanism. 

" One of our suggestions is about Mangga Dua, It's better to set a meeting with BPK, DPRD, and PT DP. By doing so, we could clarify and find the truth. If it is true the BKP finding, we will follow it up," he disclosed during the meeting, Thursday (8/6). 

Ahok: BPK Should Conduct Substantial Audit

From the finding, he continued, it could not be caused purely by criminal matters, but the administrative error. For instance, the Lebak Bulus Stadium matter that had been auctioned for demolishment, related to MRT project, but no one was reluctant due to expensive fund. 

"We are supposed to think about substantive findings, as the administrative finding is not a corruption. But it doesn't mean we are abolishing or debasing such things," he uttered.

 

The meeting also discussed about the other problems including Sumber Waras Hospital. "So it could be clarified whether it is true the overpayment case found in Sumber Waras," he disclosed

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Financial and Asset Management Board (BPKAD), Heru Budi Hartono stated his party can hold responsible most of BPK findings. Even, Jakarta Provincial Government had explained in detail before the financial report published, but BPK insisted making the items as the finding. "We can explain it all. But we know there is still finding," he stated. 

He is also ready to show all evidence with assets' location map that considered gone or not giving any reward to the city. "If it needs, check physical findings in the field, if it is not proven, the BPK findings will be removed. We discuss sentence by sentence with BPK and PT DP," he disclosed.
