For the sake of cleanliness and beauty, North Jakarta Mayor, Rustam Effendi revealed that the empowerment of Infrastructure and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officer in each urban village must be maximal.

" We don't accept any reason if the area still dirty because each urban village has been equipped with PPSU officer and janitor ," stated Effendi, when he gave a briefing to 197 PPSU officers, Wednesday (8/12).

According to him, all elements including urban village apparatus and PPSU officers should be cooperated in maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the environment. "All parties must responsible to maintain the surrounding environment," he uttered.

He added, the environmental cleanliness has become one of his priorities in North Jakarta. Routine evaluation will also be done to monitor officers. "I will directly monitor the officers in performing their job and monitor their progress until now," he voiced.

As the information, as many as 1,903 PPSU officers are in 31 urban villages in North Jakarta. "There are no areas that are not monitored for now because about 40-70 officers spread in each urban village and divided to work in their own zone.
