In order to smooth citizen's activity and unleash traffic flow, all barrier gate which located in housing in five municipalities must be opened.

"I had instructed to all sub-department head in order to coordinate with urban village and sub-district head, to open all barrier gate that exist in housing complex," told Jakarta Transportation Department Head, Andri Yansah, Wednesday (8/12).

He uttered, the command is in accordance with Governor Instruction (Ingub) No. 162/2014. In the instruction, all barrier gate in housing should be opened in order to unleash traffic flow.

"This instruction is addressed to regional officials such as urban village head, sub-department head, until mayor," told Yansah.

According to him, his side still found dozens of barrier gates in housing which are closed.

"The gate could hampered citizen's access and trigger illegal parking," told Yansyah.
