Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Department cleaned the Lapangan Banteng, Gambir, Central Jakarta two days ahead of Lebaran Betawi 2015. The agency  deployed one unit of fire truck.

"The effort is aimed to clean the area from dust," said Abdul Chair, Head of Empowerment and Society Participation for Fire Handling and Rescue Department, Thursday (8/20).

His personnel also watering the parks to refresh the plants.

Chair added that one fire truck will standby during the event on Saturday to Sunday (8/22-23).

The event is city administration's cooperation with Betawi Consultative Body (Bamus). People are free to come to enjoy the various entertainment such as gambang kromong, tanjidor, silat Betawi, palang pintu, ondel-ondel and Betawi music group.
