Regular Road Reparation Accelerated

The road reparation in the capital keep being accelerated. As recorded, along 31,000 square-meters of roads need to be repaired. Of the number, 20 percent have been done.

The reparation is conducted at night thus the road will be back to normal and ready to be passed by at noon

Head of Road Maintaining Division for Jakarta Bina Marga, Yudi Febriadi stated regular road reparation is targeted to be complete in November with budget amounted to Rp 38 billion.

The reparation is focused on upgrading road structure. To make it maximal, before the damaged road is repaired, it will be dredged until its foundation. Thus, when it is patched elevation the road will be as before.

"The reparation is conducted at night thus the road will be back to normal and ready to be passed by at noon," he stated, Tuesday (8/25).

It is conducted equal with quality of national roads. Some heavy equipments are also deployed in the reparation.

Based on Beritajakarta.com observation, those roads repaired are at Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari, Jalan Abdul Muis, and Jalan Majapahit from Jalan Abdul Muis junction until Harmoni.

"Whole road body is repaired using hotmix. Then continued on Jalan Kramat Raya starting from Kwitang junction until in front of Central Jakarta Resort Police," he explained.
