South Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department had pruned 2,159 trees thorough January-August 2015. This effort aims to anticipate fallen tree in rainy season.

“Along January-August, we had
pruned 2,159 trees in 10 sub-districts,” said Sri Hasni, Head of South Jakarta Park and Cemetery Sub-Department, Thursday (9/3).According to Hasni, the main focus is shady trees that spread along main roads in South Jakarta and trees that covered traffic signs.
“The worst location is in Kebayoran Baru Sub-District, which is having 766 trees,” he disclosed.
