Jakarta Provincial Government is about to deploy 650 health officers to check the qurban animals in all slaughtering areas in Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

It could be more than 650 officers checking the animals

The officers consist of 300 officers of Dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP), 300 officers of IPB, and 50 officers of Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (Persatuan Dokter Hewan Indonesia).

Jakarta Head Dept. of KPKP, Darjamuni, admitted his side is also assisted from Agriculture Ministry.

"It could be more than 650 officers c hecking the animals," he said, Wednesday (9/16).

Previously said that Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, allows the animal slaughtering outside the slaughtering house as long as assisted by the health officers.
