30 Points of Illegal Electricity Connection Found in Tambora

The State-owned Electricity Company (PLN) and West Jakarta Administration, found 30 points of illegal electricity connections in Tambora.

Of 30 points found, they turned out connected to hundreds other points

Those illegal connections were found by joint officers when conducting sweeping along Jalan KH Moch Mansyur, each of them was 15 points in Tambora ad 15 points in Jembatan Lima Urban Village. The officers then cut those connections.

The officer, Subrata said, due to the illegal connection, state has loss up to hundreds million rupiah a month.

"Of 30 points found, they turned out connected to hundreds other points," he said, Monday (9/28).

Tambora Urban Village Head, Dwi Kurniasih stated, the sweeping was one of efforts to prevent fire incident.

"From the sweeping result found that electricity connection installed carelessly, thus it could be dangerous," she told.

Jembatan Lima Urban Village, Mursalin added, his party will take firm action to those illegal connection perperators.

"We will report it to police thus it will be processed as rule of law," he asserted.
