628 Collapse-Prone Trees Pruned Along September-October

In South Jakarta, there had been 628 collapse-prone trees pruned along September until October.

Along September until October, 628 trees which spread in 10 sub-districts were pruned

 

Head of Green Lane Section for South Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Winarto stated that the pruning is a routine activity to anticipate collapsed trees, but if residents request so, his side will follow it up right away.

"Along September until October, 628 trees which spread in 10 sub-districts were pruned," he stated, Monday (11/2).

 

From those sub-districts, he told, the most frequently pruning conducted is in Kebayoran Baru, Kebayoran Lama, and Cilandak Sub-District. Because in those sub-districts there are many trees that above 10 years old.

 

"There are 171 trees in Kebayoran Baru, 168 trees in Kebayoran Lama and 96 trees in Cilandak," he explained.
