Responding on honorary teacher case of SMPN Satu Atap in Sebira Island whose wages have not paid for 11 months, Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo is requesting honorary teacher to report immediately in case they have not received their wages.

He stated the whole teachers’
operational are under education dept and sub dept. However, BOS (School Operational Assistance) and BOP fund is not sufficient
to guarantee welfare if the calculation is based on the number of students as
there are only a few students in Seribu Islands.
“It’s not enough to cover their
welfare,” he expressed.
Utomo added this will be evaluation
material of regency executive meeting. “We’ll try to find the solution,” he disclosed.
