Tidal waves hit North Jakarta has led Pasar Ikan sluice gate on level
alert 2 status by water level reaching 225 cm.
Residents are appealed to always be on alert due to tidal waves still happening
“Water level touch 225 cm at 12 AM,” said Desmanto, Officer on

Desmanto
mentioned the limit water level of alert 3 status range 170-190 cm, alert 2
status 200-249 cm and alert 1 status if the water level reach over than 250 cm.
North
Jakarta and parts of West Jakarta area is predicted to be affected by flood in case of water level
keeps rising.
Apart
from that matter, others sluice gate namely Katulampa, Manggarai, Pluit,
Cipinang Hulu and Pulogadung are remain safe or on level alert IV status.
“Residents
are appealed to always be on alert due to tidal waves still happening. While we
have coordinated with local apparatus,” he asserted.
