Basuki will Approve Tri Djoko's Resignation

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama will approve resignation of Jakarta Water Management Department Head, Tri Djoko Sri Margianto. However, first Ahok will ask for Tri Djoko's responsibility before he resigns.

I approve his resignation. But he must still be responsible on the money

"I approve his resignation. But he must still be responsible on the money," said Ahok at City Hall, Wednesday (12/2).

Because, he continued, closing book of 2015 City Budget is a few days remaining, that is on December 15. Tri Djoko himself serves as the Department Head since July 8 2015. "The bookkeeping is closed on December 15. If he wants to quit and be approved there must be the responsibility, he's still there," he asserted.

Dead Fishes, Basuki Awaits BPLHD DKI Research

Ahok acknowledged less satisfied with Tri Djoko's performance. Because some flood handling are not done properly, such as sheet pile installation. The unfortunate thing is the department always refused to pay the operator to operate heavy equipment.

"He said the operator couldn't be paid highly. Who says that? Paying scanner operator using  programmer experts could be Rp 50 million for 5 days. It means we can give individual contract  with high price," he disclosed.

In future, Basuki wants to replace the department head with someone who is not from public works division.

"It's supposed to be not from Public Works," he stated.
