Residents of Pekojan Urban Village, Tambora, West Jakarta now have a monument icon as high as 7 meters tanding on a land in RW 10. It is expected to raise resident participation in keeping their environment.

The monument has a symbol of Koja and Bidara fruits on the top. While at the bottom, there are high turban and mosque minarets.
"The monument construction is purely
residents donation," Head of said Pekojan Urban Village, Tri Prasetyo Utomo, after the monument inauguration which was participated by hundreds of residents, Saturday (12/12).
According to Prasetyo, besides the monument, the residents also have to be proud since Pekojan is the only area which has interesting potential such as official batik, Annawi Mosque, and Pekojan Mars song.
Mayor of West Jakarta, Anas Effendi mentioned the monument is expected to be pride of whole Tambora residents.
"First of all, I would like to congratulate Pekojan residents for having pride monument. Secondly, I hope it could raise residents participation in keeping the environment," he closed.
