KPU: Citizens Outside Jakarta Can Still Vote in Jakarta“In addition, there are also people living in gray area around BMW Park. While in East Jakarta, gray area is located at Tanah Galian. The data of those people have been recorded, thus they could use their voting rights during election. So, don’t worry,” he uttered.
During data collection process, KPU was coordinating with Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department. To ease the process, RTs/RWs were formed in those gray areas. This is based on Jakarta Governor’s approval.
Regarding legislative election on April 9, KPU ensures that all preparations are almost completed. At this time, KPU is still distributing invitation cards to the voters. However, all logistics have been distributed until to urban village level. And on D-1 or April 8, those logistics will be distributed to polling stations.
