DKI Hapus Denda PKB Hingga 2 Agustus

Until Agust 2, PKB Fee Fines Remove

Starting on July 2-August 2, Jakarta Provincial Government is slated to issue a policy of removing fee fines in the motorized vehicle tax (PKB) and vehicle-ownership transfer fees (BBNKB).

The policy is to attract taxpayer paying PKB that has been paid off

Jakarta Tax Service Dept Head, Agus Bambang Setyowidodo disclosed, the issue is applied to increase local tax revenue.

"The policy is to attract taxpayer paying PKB that has been paid off," he disclosed, Friday (7/8).

It is done by adjusting the PKB and BBNKB system to taxpayers who have not paid off the tax. This only applies to August 2.

After a set time limit, it will be charged under fee fines in accordance with the provisions of local tax regulations.

"Such policy was set at the service unit office in all Samsat offices," he expressed.

He assessed it can eliminate or reduce the fee fines in PKB and BBNKB in the form of accrued interest in accordance with provisions that listed in local regulations. It was applied because of taxpayer's oversight over their fault.

"We urge all people who have vehicle and registered in Jakarta to use this chance as good as possible," he said.

He mentioned, it is also to abolish the payment of arrears of previous years. Hopefully, that removal can maximize tax revenue.
